I would love to point out the new upgrades the Silverado comes with for the 2023 year. Chevrolet has delivered on the refined second-generation Duramax 3.0L turbo-Diesel engine, creating 10 percent more horsepower and 7.6 percent more torque. New steel piston design, revised turbo compressor, new fuel injectors, and an improved Temperature control feature. They have added new exterior colors to choose from. Radiant Red Tintcoat, Sterling Gray Metallic, and Harvest Bronze Metallic will be available at an additional cost. On Chevrolet’s High-Country models, you’ll have a Jet Black/Umber interior available for your style and comfort.
There are many trims to choose from when it comes to your Silverado. WT, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, ZR2, LTZ, and High Country. You can use the Silverado as a work, off-road, or luxury truck. Of course, one of the greatest things about owning a pick-up truck is the ample amount of space in your cargo area and the bed of your truck. Most functional bed in the line up with 12 standard tie downs, 89.1 cubic feet of space, and available power up/down tailgate for ease. My favorite exterior feature when I had my opportunity to check out the Silverado is the Multi-Flex Tailgate that offers 6 different functions to help improve loading, and uploading and is a great step up for someone like me who is 5 foot 3 inches! This truck’s needs and wants are just great for any lifestyle.
Getting into the interior of the Silverado, you have plenty of space in the cab which also creates a ton of space between the front and rear rows that your tall family members and friends would greatly appreciate. I took an opportunity to hop into the Custom trim model of the Silverado and took it on a test drive. I think my favorite feature is the 40/20/40 split-bench front seat with under-seat storage. It brings back the old days of your partner sitting close to you instead of across the vehicle from you but if you are not into that, it’s great for 3 people across or placing the middle seat down and having tons of cargo storage and 2 cup holders. Another great feature is the technology that the Silverado comes packed with. Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with color touchscreen, Bluetooth compatible wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, 3.5” diagonal monochromatic driver information center, remote start, two USB ports, 120-volt power outlet, OnStar & Chevrolet Connected Service capabilities and so much more. 2023 Chevrolet Equinox Overview in Baltimore, MD
With the year coming to an end, 2023 brings a few new things to the Chevrolet Equinox that will fill in a space of want and need. Let’s take a look into the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox and it’s great features at the touch of your hand.
The new features coming to the 2023 Chevy Equinox range from exterior color additions to mechanical upgrades. More options will always be a great way to start! The output has increased to 175 horsepower with the standard 1.5L Turbo engine. Chevrolet has added the E-boost electronic power-assisted brakes for an updated braking power. You can now choose between the midnight and sports editions when you purchase the LS trim Equinox. Lastly, the exterior colors added to the Equinox line-up are Harvest Bronze Metallic, Sterling Gray Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat (at an extra cost).
The Equinox is offered in 4 trim styles, LS, LT RS and Premier which are all available in the all-wheel drive option if you do not want to stay in the standard Front-wheel drive. With the upgraded horsepower of 175 in the 1.5L Turbo DOHC engine as a six-speed automatic, you’ll find yourself in comfort with the ride of great performance and pick-up. You will also find that the max cargo room with the rear seats folded down at 63.9 cubic feet creates not only the comfort but a spacious ride as well.
With the cold weather coming in, you can’t beat having the heated front seats that will come standard on the Premier and RS trim and made available on the LT trim. You also have the option available to have heated rear outboard seats when you chose the Premier trim. Lastly, a heated steering wheel comes in handy on the cold days too! The heated steering wheel will come standard on the Premier trim and available to have on the LT and RS trim levels. AS the driver of your Equinox, having your entertainment and connections for calls and directions is important to stay focused through your trip. According to Chevrolet, the Trax is 106.3 inches between the axles, the full length is 178.6 inches, and the height of the vehicle is 61.4 inches. With a 1.2L turbo engine in FWD (Front Wheel Drive) with a maximum of 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, the Trax provides a GM-Estimated 30 MPG combined fuel economy. Customers will start with 2 trim choices of the muscular ACTIV or the very sporty RS. The ACTIV trim’s monochromatic will come along with 18-inch black aluminum wheels, and a black mesh grille with titanium chrome accents. The RS trim will come along with 19-inch machined two-tone wheels and a black mesh grille with unique badging. The complete line of trim models to choose from is ACTIV, 2RS, 1LT, 1RS, and LS. You’ll also have 8 different exterior colors to choose from including the debut color Cacti Green.

Getting into the wonderful interior features of the remodeled Chevy Trax, the driver-oriented cabin will have 2 large, redesigned display screens with an available 11-inch diagonal display screen for all trim models. One of the greatest upgrades to this model is the 6 Cu. Ft. of cargo space added adding up to 54.1 Cu. Ft. max cargo space to create an even more spacious cabin to seat 5 and 3 inches more of rear leg room. If you need more space to move things in your vehicle, the Trax has 60/40 split-folding second-row seats. The ACTIV trim model will provide the 11-inch diagonal display screen, and unique interior accents with a wrapped heated steering wheel while the RS trim provides the 11-inch diagonal display screen, red interior accents, and a flat-bottom heated steering wheel. Every Chevrolet will come with the Standard Chevy Safety Assist with additional safety and driver assistance features available to add to your Chevy Trax. 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV Overview in Baltimore
As Chevrolet continues to evolve in the day of Electric Vehicles, the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV has officially made its debut in the EV line-up. Let’s take a look at the features the Chevrolet Equinox EV has to offer!
The Chevy Equinox EV will be available in 5 different Trims:
- 1LT (Available Spring 2024)
- 2LT (Available Spring 2024)
- 2RS (Available Fall 2023)
- 3LT (Available Spring 2024)
- 3RS (Available Spring 2024)
With the option of 8 different exterior colors all matched with the sky-cool gray interior, there is a favorite look for everyone. The exterior colors available are:
- Summit White
- Black
- Iridescent Pearl Tricoat
- Sterling Gray Metallic
- Radiant Red Metallic
- Red Hot
- Galaxy Gray Metallic
- Riptide blue metallic with the Summit White top
The Equinox EV shows the latest charging technologies with the standard 11.5 kW Level 2 (AC) Charging that can add up to 34 miles of range per hour of charging per GM estimates. Standard DC fast-charging capability of up to 150 kW, which enables approximately 70 miles of range to be added in 10 minutes, per GM estimates. The 3RS AWD, allows 19.2 kW level 2 (AC) charging that can add up to 51 miles of range per hour of charging, per GM estimates. In turn, provides a GM-estimated 300 miles of range on a full charge. The MyChevy app provides available navigation and routes planning to help locate routes to over 110,000 publicly available charging stations. The standard front-wheel drive GM estimates 210 horsepower and 242 lb.-ft of torque while the all-wheel drive system (eAWD) provides 290 horsepower and 346 lb.-ft torque.
The cargo of the Equinox EV comfortably seats up to five people with up to 57.2 cubic feet of maximum cargo space. The trunk of the vehicle provides a dual-height cargo floor for even more cargo space needed. The Ultium platform was designed from the ground up to offer a variety of performance and driving characteristics with near-instant electric torque providing quick acceleration, according to Chevrolet.com. In addition to the Ulitum-based technologies includes an available 17.7-inch diagonal system for a strong connection with the Driver’s preferences in mind. Many features are available on the Equinox EV including:
-Standard with 19-inch wheels but available 20-inch and 21-inch depending on trim model.
-Presence-based liftgate that can be opened hands-free when the key fob is in range and sensed near the rear of the vehicle.
-Heated Front and Rear Outboard Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, and Heated Windshield Wiper Park Feature.
-Walk-up lighting with front and rear lighting animation are standard with the unique light bar on mid/up level LT and RS trims.
With safety as the top priority, Chevrolet provides multiple safety features to provide a sleek but safe ride in your vehicle. Depending on which trim you choose to go with, the Equinox EV has the Driver Assistance Technologies and Super Cruise Hands-Free Driver Assistance technology for compatible roads available. The Driver Assistance Technologies include Adaptive Cruise Control and HD Surround Vision with a Head-Up Display and Rear Camera Mirror available. The One-Pedal Driving is a new standard that allows the Equinox EV to accelerate and slow to a full stop using only the accelerator. This works with regenerative braking to convert the kinetic energy of the vehicle’s forward momentum into the electricity that stores in the battery pack to maximize the driving range. On August 7th, 2022, the Senate passed the “Inflation Reduction Act” which is an amended version of the $790 billion tax and spending bill. The legislation is looking to be considered by the House on Friday, August 12th with a high expectation to pass as the vote in the senate passed 51-50. President Biden has stated he will sign the bill into law possibly early next week with the bill including an important change for the section 30D federal electric vehicle (EV) tax credit. Even though the tax credit program does not go into effect until the first of January 2023, a new requirement will go into effect immediately upon the enactment.
The mandatory requirement for the up to $7,500 federal tax credit is the electric vehicle (EV) will need to have its final assembly within the U.S., Mexico, or Canada. Once the bill has been signed, if the final assembly was completed outside of North America without an already written bonded contract to purchase in place, the vehicle no longer qualifies for the tax credit. (All trims varying in range) The first-ever SS performance trim, allows the powerful experience of the AWD to produce up to 557 horsepower and up to 648 lb-ft of torque with the WOW mode (Wide Open Watts) that gets you from 0-60 mph in 4 seconds. Just amazing the performance this EV can provide. The Blazer EV will carry with all advanced standard Chevy Safety Assist of Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and IntelliBeam, Following Distance Indicator, and Front Pedestrian Braking. Adding to the list of the Chevy Safety Assist are the Reverse Automatic Braking and Advanced Park Assist.
Going into the interior features, you can’t miss the feeling of being the pilot of your own vehicle with the 17.7-inch diagonal color touchscreen as the focal point and accompanied by the large 11-inch diagonal color Driver Information Center as the instrument cluster. The All-New 2022 Chevy Traverse was refreshed, and we wanted to educate you on some of the changes that Chevrolet has made. What’s New? – Exterior
I mentioned earlier that Chevrolet refreshed the Traverse for the 2022 model year; let’s dive into what’s new and exciting for the shake-up.For the exterior, you’ll be greeted with new or updated:
- Fascia design
- Front grill for each trim
- LED Taillight design
- Roof rail design
- Wheel Options
- Available Folding Power Mirrors
- Redesigned Standard headlamps / Day-time running lamps
- Three new exterior colors
What’s New? – Interior
Whew, that is a lot of news to take in, and that’s just the exterior! During the refresh, convenience was a priority to make the Traverse a perfect go-to vehicle for weekend road trips with the family. With the previously mentioned best-in-class cargo space, you can utilize the 60/40 split 3rd row and fold-down second-row seating; you can gain up to 98.2 cubic ft. of cargo space. In addition, when those rear seats are back in place, the 2nd-row seats are equipped with enhanced forward sliding capabilities to allow easier access for passengers into the 3rd-row. The functionality does stop there; on the Premier trim, the Traverse is equipped with a hands-free power liftgate to help load rear cargo.
As for the interior, the refresh has brought the consumer new upholstery options, a new 8in. Driver Information Center, Standard Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, available wireless charging, and wireless hotspot.
The power train for the Chevy Traverse includes a standard 3.6L 6-Cylinder engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The standard engine provides a robust 310 horsepower to provide ample passing and merging power whether you’re commuting on the Beltway or traveling the DMV for weekend adventures. Even if you have something to haul, the Traverse can tow up to 5,000 lbs when properly equipped.
Safety
Finally, we move on to safety, and how this refreshed, Chevy Mid-Sized 3 Row SUV can keep you and your precious cargo safe. The Traverse is equipped standard with Chevy Safety Assist, which provides you with the following features.
