The All-New redesigned 2022 Chevrolet Silverado is here, and it comes with an off-road twist. (ZR2 Information coming in a separate article).

2022 Chevrolet Silverado LT – Center Display

First, we go into a redesigned interior again on LT trims and above; you will have endless opportunities to enhance your driving comfort and premium feel within your Silverado. Bose audio speakers, pore-wood trims, and leather options will be made available; if you are looking for those options, you will probably look towards the High Country trim.

Next, we have to talk about the improvements to the Silverado itself across all trims. The redesign has brought a tech boost to the interior, reimagining the use of screen-based information for a driver looking for modern and valuable capabilities in their full-size Silverado. In addition, Chevy has put two massive screens in the front, first with a 13.4-inch diagonal center display, fully capable with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The second screen involves the instrument panel where an accompanied motion graphic will meet the driver upon entry on an impressive 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The new screens will be standard on trims LT and above in the Silverado.

With the new additions to the full-size behemoth, we also can’t forget the safety features included in the redesign. First, for those of you who purchase your trucks with towing in mind, advanced trailering system features are available to you. Safety connections and the new screens are used to ensure you have a safe and stable connection throughout your towing process. Along with your available trailering system, you will also have the available option of Super Cruise, the authentic hands-free safe driving experience. The safety doesn’t stop regarding towing features; an expanded trailer side blind zone alert is also available for your Silverado. Finally, regarding security, the Chevy Safety Assist suite will be available in all trims. The suite includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, departure warning, auto high beams, etc.

Okay, enough about the vastly improved safety features; let’s talk trims and engine options. The trims available will include:

WT / Custom / Custom Trail Boss / LT / RST / LT Trail Boss / LTZ / ZR2 / High Country.

With these trims, you will also have the option of 4 different engines to pair them with, which include:

As excited as we are for all of the new upgrades and the release of the ’22 Silverado, it looks like these full-sized beauties will be hitting showrooms sometime in early 2022. The delay is due to production halts and COVID issues along the supply chain. Things, of course, can change; for updates regarding arrivals and all-new Chevrolet news, be sure to follow our social media platforms and of course, check out our current inventory of Chevrolet models for great deals.
