How Does it Work?
Simple and effective! The Silverado’s camera washer activates in conjunction with the windshield washer. So, when you’re cleaning your windshield, you’re also cleaning the camera lens. Availability Across the Silverado Lineup:
For the 2025 model year, the Surround View Camera System, which includes the camera washer, is becoming more widely available on the Silverado. However, availability varies by trim level:
- Silverado 1500: This system is standard on the High Country and ZR2 trims. It’s also available on the LT, LTZ, and RST trims, but only when equipped with the optional Safety Package (RPO code PQB). Unfortunately, the system isn’t available on the Work Truck (WT), Custom, or Custom Trail Boss trims, nor is it available for Regular Cab models.
- Silverado HD: Similar to the 1500, the Surround View Camera System is standard on the High Country trim. Other trims may offer it as part of an optional package. Contact us for specific details on the HD model you’re interested in.
