The Trailblazer has two different engines to work with depending on the trim you decide on, the ECOTEC 1.2L Turbo Engine or the ECOTEC 1.3L Turbo Engine. The ECOTEC 1.2L Turbo Engine is the standard engine with 137 horsepower and comes in with 29 MPG for the city and 31 MPG for the highway. The ECOTEC 1.3L Turbo Engine is available as Front-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive with 155 horsepower and comes in with 29 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway (26 MPG City AWD/30 MPG HWY AWD).

As the 2022 Top Safety Pick for Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, every Chevy comes standard equipped with the Chevy Safety Assist including Teen Driver settings, Forward Collision Alert and Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator, and IntelliBeam High Beam Assist.
