The Chevrolet Malibu has 3 special editions available on the Malibu 1LT and 2LT trim levels. Midnight Edition, Sport Edition and Redline Edition. Midnight Edition comes with 19-inch painted aluminum wheels, black front and rear bowtie emblems, blacked out grille, nameplate badge in black and only in the Mosaic Black Metallic exterior color. The Sports Edition will come with 19-in black painted aluminum wheels, black front and rear bowtie emblems, blacked out grille, nameplate badge in black. Lastly, the Redline Edition comes with 19-in black painted aluminum wheels with red hashmarks, black front and rear bow tie emblems, blacked-out grille, nameplate badge in black with red outline and black outside mirrors with redline decals.
According to Chevrolet and the J.D. Power and Associates, The 2022 Chevrolet Malibu is the highest ranked midsize car in initial quality. Providing great efficiency with the estimated miles per gallon of 27 City/35 Highway on the 1.5 L Turbo Engine and providing great confidence on the MacPherson strut front suspension, 4 link rear suspension and standard variable-effort electric power steering.

The Chevy Safety Assist comes standard on every Chevrolet and has many features available to add. Chevy Safety Assist includes Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Front Pedestrian Braking, Intelibeam High Beam Assist, Teen Driver Technology and Automatic Emergency Braking. Two safety features available to the Chevy Safety Assist are the Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
