The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is a completely new electric vehicle (EV) from General Motors, sharing only a name and underpinnings with its smaller sibling, the Chevrolet Bolt EV.   All of the sheet metal and interior is entirely new, and the extended 6’’ wheelbase translates to improved rear set legroom.  GM says that ¾ of previous Bolt customers were new to the brand, so it has taken great care to craft a vehicle to compete with the wide variety of EV competition on the market today.  Starting at $33,995 including destination, with a range capability of up to 250 miles, and crossover SUV dimensions – the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is a compelling package for consumers looking to make the leap behind the wheel of an electric vehicle.

The 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV is available in two distinct trim levels – LT and Premier.  The LT is the standard variant, available in 7 paint options with a choice of either black or gray interior.  Apple Carplay and Android Auto are standard, an integrated 4G LTE Wifi hotspot is optional.  Standard safety features include Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, and Automatic High Beams.  All batteries are covered by a limited system warranty good for 8 years/100,000 miles.   The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt LT sits on 17’’ silver painted aluminum wheels.  All 2022 Bolts come standard with a dual level charge cord, capable of Level 1 charging via a standard 120V wall outlet or Level 2 charging from a 240-volt outlet General Motors will pay to have installed at your home.  Seven hours of Level 2 charging will attain full range, and the MyChevrolet app offers directions to over 80,000 available charging locations scattered across the United States.  GM and EVgo, the nation’s largest fast-charging network, are teaming up to deliver another 2700 fast chargers across the nation by 2025.

Step up to the 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Premier and you’ll net a variety of premium features, including heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery and steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, a rear camera mirror, HD surround vision and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert.  Both Bolt trims are also offer a special “Launch Edition” trim, now discounted to $5000, featuring all of the latest technologies General Motors has to offer.  A panoramic moonroof, 17’’ Dark Android painted wheels and an illuminated charging point enhance the aesthetic of the Bolt EUV.  A 10.2’’ HD color touchscreen featuring Chevrolet Infotainment 3, Navigation and audio wired to a Bose 7 speaker system make life in the cabin more enjoyable.   The most impressive feature found in this package is GM’s innovative Super Cruise technology, debuting for the first time in a Chevrolet badged vehicle.   The first truly hands free driving experience, Super Cruise allows for drivers to sit back and ride hands-free over 200,000+ miles of American highway.  In the Baltimore/Washington region, Super Cruise is compatible with I95, I695 Baltimore Beltway, I83, I70, I895, MD 295 Baltimore/Washington Parkway, Route 50, I795, I97, I66 and I495!  Super Cruise can be equipped to any Bolt EUV separately for $2200, and comes bundled with a 3 year software subscription.
