All-terrain tires with 18-inch wheels that Chevy designed exclusively for the Z71.
- More than 1-inch ground clearance with an increased track is now an addition to provide stability, handling, and capability.
- Twin-clutch AWD system for improved traction & handling with unique dampers equipped with hydraulic rebound controls that optimize your off-road experience. You'll also have a specific terrain mode inside the driver selection of drive modes to choose from.
- Standard trailering package and a Hill Descent Control come equipped with the Z71.
The RS model has been with the Chevy family for quite some time now but comes through with a much sharper and sportier look to the exterior and the interior. Quick key features added to the RS model come as follows:
All-new 22-inch high gloss black aluminum wheels for a sleek & shiny look.
RS exterior and interior badging with blackout accent on the grille, roof rails, and moldings. Distinguishing interior cues include a three-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel, headrest details, and a jet-black theme throughout the whole vehicle with red accents. RS stitching in the headrests & blackout accents are a personal favorite of mine!
Now standard second-row one-touch power-folding seats to assist in the much-improved access to the third-row seating.
- Unique suspension tuning for a very sportier ride and great handling on any trip planned.
- Walk-up lighting animations will greet you as you approach your vehicle with an enabled key.
- Panoramic Dual-Glass Sunroof with a power sunshade comes standard with the RS.
All Traverse trims will come equipped with the updated Buckle to Drive feature that requires the front passengers to buckle their seat belts before the vehicle can be driven. Along with the updated Buckle to Drive feature, the Rear seat belt reminder is new as well which alerts you if a passenger in the second or third row has taken off their seat belt or has not buckled their seat belt before the vehicle started moving. The instrument panel is now lower than previous models to enhance outward visibility and updating the instrument panel to the technology forward ethos 17.7-inch diagonal for a more spacious feeling. The standard 17.7-inch diagonal color touchscreen has the best in class updated to the technology forward ethos and is lower than previous models for more of an outward visibility and spacious feeling.
The best-in-class max cargo capacity for the 2024 Traverse is 98 cubic feet with even more versatility for cargo and passenger seating. LS trim will come standard with an 8-passenger seating and second and third-row bench seats. The LT, Z71, and RS trims will come standard with the 7-passenger seating and 8-passenger seating configurations will be available with the LT trim.
The 2024 Chevrolet Traverse will be available in early 2024 and will be produced at the GM Lansing Delta Township Facility in Michigan.
